The PWA Calendar 2024 is released, including the unified PWA IWT World Tour.
With 15 events (with 4 youth events included) the PWA tour will take pro windsurfing right around the globe. Especially the unified PWA/IWT World tour will see world class tour stops in Japan, Chile, Peru, Fiji or the Canary Islands. In total 8 wave events are on the calendar.
5 Slalom events are on the schedule. Last week the PWA announced a new slalom format, called Slalom X. So, fin slalom and foil slalom will be two separate disciplines.
The Youth riders will compete in four locations in Slalom: in Aruba, Bonaire, Denmark and Alacati, Turkey.
The freestyle riders will only compete in Fuerteventura and Sylt.
