Yes, can be discussed, but the fin is out of the water and his movement is more like jumping than sliding. Don´t you think?
To me it looks more like a powerful slide. The fin sometimes comes out of the water during a slide while sliding backwards, but the whole board never is. If you look closely you can see that he stamps down hard with the back leg to force a spinout but he never actually tries to lift his backfoot like one normally would in a jump, right?
But i know what you mean. It resembles a jump quite a bit.
