Antoine Martin released a great video about his latest adventure in Chile. The top wave windsurfer from Guadeloupe enjoyed his free sessions prior to the event, showcasing his skills. However, his trip to Chile took an unexpected turn when he twisted his left ankle twice, resulting in considerable pain and reduced mobility. Not the best, when you know you have to compete in an event. Despite his best efforts, Antoine faced an early exit from the IWT/PWA wave event at Matanzas. But, Antoine remains optimistic and is already looking forward to the upcoming event in Pozo Izquierdo, Gran Canaria.
A wise man once said “it’s not the destination but the journey that matter the most”. Despite a bad result in the Chilean 5 stars world championship event, an injury and being sick, I truly enjoyed every single day of my trip cause the energy over there is quite extraordinary. Now I ‘ll be back in Guadeloupe, recover from the injury and get ready for the next event in Pozo Izquierdo. Antoine Martin
