In the beginning of May Pierre Garambois travelled to the island of Sardinia. Although the conditions were not like he expected, he scored some nice windsurfing sessions at various spots on the island.

“We went to the island with the hope of warm weather and good winds, usually it’s the case in May. Well, we have to say it was quite the opposite! It was all about light winds and lots and lots of rain, like big swimming pool in the middle of the highway! Still, with a lot of driving, we could catch a few little sessions in Porto Pollo and Sa Barra in between the heavy rain and the very few sunny moments! We could also score a really nice and uncrowded freestyle spot we didn’t know: “Pula”, in the south-east of Sardinia. There is a surprising thermal wind that works some days. Anyway, the good thing in Sardinia is that there is still plenty of things to do in the center of the island if there is no wind!” (Pierre Garambois)
