Jaeger Stone is one of the most talented and hardest ripping young wave sailors. 22 year old Jaeger had his debut on the PWA Tour back in 2006 at the age of 16 and already made it once on the podium at Tenerife. He lives in Geraldton, the fifth biggest town in Western Australia, where his father runs the Stone Board company. Unfortunately Jaeger had to stay off the water during the windy and wavy Australian Summer, watching the waves at Coronation from the beach. He is not the only one, who actually is injured. Ross Williams cracked his ankle during a kite session and Ben Proffitt injured his shoulder in Western Australia.

JAEGER STONE (KA-120): “Unfortunately I couldn’t get any new clips over the Westen Australian summer as I injured my ankle pretty badly the first week I got home from university. I ended up tearing a few really important ligaments in my ankle and for the best long term management I needed to get a screw put through my tibia and fibula. I’ve been in a cast for 6 weeks now and have another 4 weeks to go before I can start walking again. I’m going to be off the water for another few months yet, but luckily I’ve got university to keep me busy. I’m in my last year of studying Physiotherapy now and hopefully I’ll be able to start focusing on doing the PWA events towards the end of this year.”

We wish Jaeger a quick recovery and that he will be on the water soon again!! Hopefully we will see you competing at Chile and Cape Town in November and December 2013.
