The Grip TE is available in 6 sizes from 68 up to 102 liters. For really light and small riders Fanatic offers the Grip XS with 60 liters of volume. The main people, who are involved in the wave board development at Fanatic are Craig Gertenbach (works for Fanatic since 1995), Sebastian Wenzel (shaper since 1994), Klaas Voget (since 1999) and a few team riders.

Some brands took it easier in development. In Tenerife everything started. The 2020 outline looks similar, but there are changes. The final testing happened in Cape Town in November 2018. The market asked for a bigger wakeboard. The sales of the Grip was huge and added a size. The average wave rider is in between 80 and 90 kg. We created a new 86, a thicker version of the 82 Grip.

The Stubby TE is a wave catching machine and, the trickier the conditions get, the more the Stubby will excel. Snappy turns, efficient speed and flow boost your session, when others are (still)slogging around trying to get going. No board feels more rewarding to sail, or will flatter your style and technique so well. It’s available in 4 sizes from 76 to 99 liters.

Thanks to a further evolution and refinement of the efficient Stubby concept, the legendary FreeWave has also gained a huge boost in looseness. The new outline makes its turning ability so good; it rivals many ‘pure’ wave boards! Speed, control and planing power are also improved; this is a board that can take all conditions in its stride. It’s available in 5 sizes from 75 up to 115 liters in three different construction options. 75 and 85 have more wave performance, the bigger sizes ate more bump&jump oriented.

With the launch of the 2020 collection Fanatic presents a new Fanatic logo! The new logotype supports its sportive and unique image and is a mixture between a stylistic wing and a typographic F. The new F-Wing is the result of the reduction of those elements, into a clean, modern symbol. Wings are generally a sign for freedom, dynamic and independence. Exactly those features reflect the boardsports and lifestyle Fanatic represents. This logo works perfectly for all our different worlds: Windsurfing, SUP and Foil. It also strengthens our slogan and positioning „Addicted to Ride“.
