Craig Gertenbach has been in windsurfing for 40 years now. First as a local rider in South Africa, then as a top 10 PWA competitor after winning national titles and finally as brand manager for Fanatic, the current market leader in the windsurfing board industry.

Regarding the Roediger Naish dispute I think that people are no fools and know that pros use customs and thats natural. But the proven and established principle of hoodwinking customers by painting customs with production graphics is wrong and abusive.By cheating you get the opposite effect. Boernd may still have to figure out how the world works, but undeniably the guy is crazy abundantly talented, even for Hookipa standards. That much talent is uncomprehensible for us smallcreeps. I didnt watch the whole videocast, was roediger/naish part of it?
Riders sailing on painted KT customs is an maui issue i’d say (not only Bernd,others too!) the rest is sailing prototype customs made by “their” shaper or am i wrong? KT boards are hard to beat in hookipa probably, even though this kills the idea of an healthy R+D Team i guess.
