Victor Fernandez (E-42) from Almerimar (Spain) was fighting for the World title in waves in 2014. After 5 events and a hard battle at each event he finished in 2nd overall. It was definitely a year to remember. Victor won the PWA event in Pozo and at the other events he always finished in the top 5. Additionally to the events he scored a lot of epic windsurfing days on Maui, in France, Chile or on Gran Canaria.

Victor sails so amazing! What an inspiration to watch the moves he does. Just incredible. Nice guy lets his sailing do his talking.. One of the best all round waves sailors in the world!
Damn, I can’t get over this guy’s style. Pure joy, pure ripping, no doubt does he always commit a hundred percent.
And the fact that he performs actual cutbacks consistently!
And perfect Wave 360s on both tacks…
You never slide it backwards. You push the mast into the wind with your front hand and your back hand stands still.
True, but either way, my point is that Victor does not do that. His hands stay put as far as I can see
Makes you wonder why everyone these days seems to agree that the only way to pull of a good stalled forward is by sliding the hand back on the boom?
Breathless !!
