19-year-old Lennart Neubauer from Naxos, Greece won the single elimination at the 2023 schauinslandreisen Windsurf World Cup Sylt, presented by got2b. The Greek, who has his comeback season after a severe knee injury, qualified for his first PWA winners final in the men freestyle discipline and now leads the event defeating the former Freestyle World Champion and multiple EFPT tour winner Steven van Broeckhoven from Belgium.
With 38.3 points he reached the high score of the day. If results stay like this Lennart would take home the vice world champion title. With his third place in the single Adrien Bosson moved into pole position for the world title race. Check out Lennart’s heat from the winners final.
