On May 11 the WUK in Vienna, a famous meeting point for alternative cultures, transforms into a cinema for surfing enthusiasts. The first surf film festival in Vienna will celebrate surfing culture with a diverse array of films.
We are more than happy that a special edit of Olaf Crato’s Dis.Traction ft. Marcilio Browne and Morgan Noireaux is part of the festival’s program. Olaf: “I am really happy the organizer likes the edit and it’s great that windsurfing is part of the program!”

A action/sports documentary starring the windsurfers Marcilio Browne and Morgan Noireaux at Ho’okipa and at Peahi (aka Jaws) in Maui.
Surf Anywhere
River surfing 1000 km away from the ocean right in the middle of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
Far Away
Festival Premiere. A film about surfing the Eisbach River in the middle of the German city Munich.
Beyond – Exclusive Preview
Austrian surf movie production, which takes you to the beautiful countries of Morocco, West Sahara, Mauritania, Senegal and Gambia.
Morning of the Earth
A surf film masterpiece from 1972 by Sydney photographer Albert Falzon. The festival shows iconographic parts from Kirra and Bali.
Spirit of Akasha
A new film by Andrew Kidmann (Litmus, Last Hope) and his mentor Albert Falzon, who follow up on the legacy of Morning of the Earth.
