Finally on day 8 of the 2023 schauinslandreisen Windsurf World Cup Sylt, presented by got2b the conditions were suitable to kick off the wave competition. At 11:45 am the Women’s Wave Single Elimination started but unfortunately the conditions got worse and the final heats could not to be completed.
The Women’s Winners’ Final will be Maria Behrens vs. Marine Hunter. These are totally new names in a women’s wave final with neither Hunter or Behrens ever qualifying for a final. On her way into the final Maria Behrens won against Lina Erpenstein and Justyna Sniady. Marine Hunter won against Sol Degrieck and Sarah-Quita Offringa.
