Josep Pons, who moved from the mediterranean island of Menorca to the Canary island of Gran Canaria, is living the windsurfing dream. He works as professional windsurfing coach, shapes windsurfing boards together with his mentor Carlos Sosa from CS Custom Boards, the former shaper of Björn Dunkerbeck, and competes on the PWA World Tour in the wave discipline.
Josep, who is one of the oldest competitors on the PWA tour is is incredibly fit and lands huge stalled Forwards, Push Forwards and Double Forwards. And despite his age there aren’t many wave riders out there who have these skills in port tack conditions.
Biggest forward ever recorded?
