Julian Wiemar in Andalusia

“New Years Flow Andalusia” features the 17 year old German freestyle sailor Julian Wiemar (G-2111), who got the title “Windsurfing Talent of the year” awarded by the German Surf magazine on the “Boot Düsseldorf” this year.

Julian Wiemar: “Funny and windy weeks in the south of Spain around New Year 2013/14. We sailed at Tarifa and the spots around. The westerly Poniente brought us waves and wind almost every day. But don’t expect the craziest action, as I need to improve my sailing in wavy onshore conditions. The highlights of the trip were an excursion to the Rock of Gibraltar meeting the monkeys, and a super nice, lonely evening session at Sancti Petri, a flat water spot 80 kilometers up north of Tarifa.
