Jason Polakow and Robby are real wave hunters. Jason follows big swell all around the year. The 42 year old Australian still is a true athlete and takes a lot of risk hitting the lips as hard as possible and nails big aerials off the lip. Jason gets accompanied by his team mate Robby Swift at many trips. This time they scored big conditions on Maui. Lanes was on fire during a Kona wind period and both were riding waves in unusual port tack conditions. It was the perfect time to hit the water and test the latest wave prototypes from Robert Stroj, made on Maui. Jason and Robby tested the new Fly models and destroyed a few sails. Like in the good old days!! Remember back then, windsurfers were jumping through the sails of their team mates….

The following 6 minutes long clip contains a lot of different shots from various angles. It’s quite impressive to see wave rides in such a clean break 3-4 foot waves. Just the launch from a rocky cliff did not look too easy. Even other team rider, like Sebastian Kornum were present to give Jason and Robby a hand when launching or returning on land. Additionally they had a few more spectators, who watched the crazy action from a  safe spot.

Jason and Robby landed a few really high Aerials in critical sections and shared a few waves. Jason Polakow rent the helicopter. Heidy Swift, Jeff Rowley, Minie Vuong, Giora Koren and Robby Swift filmed the action. Robby edited the insane clip.
