“Sugar” is a short wave windsurfing edit from Ho’okipa filmed this winter 2016/2017. According to Robert Heffel this is the end of an era of sugar cane production in Maui. Heffel put a clip of the sugar cane fields burning across the street from his house. That’s the reason, why he called the video “Sugar”. Some of the best wave windsurfers luckily continue and still produce radical wave rides.
