Graham Ezzy sent us a Forward Loop off the lip from a recent wave riding session at Ho’okipa. As the move looks a bit different compared to the classic ones at Ho’okipa we thought to ask Graham about the move.

“I love the evening sessions at Ho’okipa, and in this moment, I approached the lip without any thought about what to do when I reached it. My timing and body position were off for a normal air off-the-lip, so as I made contact with the lip, I went for a hangover (wave grubby) but my position was off for that too, so I sheeted one and went for a more forward-like rotation. It’s not a move that I do often at Ho’okipa, but this one was effortless and in the flow.”
