Although it is not really windy and the wave does not have much power in this video, Graham manages to keep the momentum by staying high on the wave and he is even able to include an Aerial and powerful cutbacks into this ride.

Graham about his wave ride: “To combat the lighter winds in the double elimination of the Aloha Classic, I rode my 5.3 Taka and a 90L custom thruster made to float. Because of the easterly direction in the swell, the waves that day broke with less power than normal and were mushy. The trick in these conditions is keeping speed, which I do by staying very high on the wave and never going into the flats. While this wave was not one of my highest scores, it is one of my favorite waves from the event because I was able to make a lot happen with not much offered from the wave.”
