In his season recap Dieter Van der Eyken describes, how he lost ground in the rankings in 2023. It’s a quite honest analysis. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. That’s part of the game and and sometimes it’s hard to find the reasons. We are sure Dieter, a former PWA freestyle world champion, will fight back and gain ground in 2024 again. He still puts his focus on two disciplines, on freestyle and waves, what needs time and effort to keep and improve the level. There are not many riders, who are able to deliver in both disciplines at the same time.
