Bariloche, the Argentinian Switzerland – Lago Nahuel Huapi, January 2018. From January 5-7 the Argentinian freestyle wave tour (TAW) had a tour stop at the remote Argentinian lake Nahuel Huapi in the province of Rio Negro. A lot of spectators made it to the famous south east beach of Dina Huapi and had fun watching the great freestyle wave conditions. The lake is well known for proper onshore wave conditions.
It’s definitely a unique and beautiful place. We visited the lake a few years ago and were amazed by the landscape and the waves, which built during a strong wind period.

It is indeed a great spot and when it gets windy for 4.5m or smaller it gets wavy , too 🙂
