Last winter was the 4th time the Italian windsurfer Andrea Franchini and his girlfriend Adele Frola travelled to Cape Town (South Africa). The conditions were brilliant and Andrea scored sessions on both tacks, what’s quite unusual for summers in South Africa. But last season was unusual compared to other seasons he told us, as the famous wind the “Cape Doctor” died completely or changed direction by 180°.
