Claes Nilsson Kvick is a windsurfer from Sweden, who switches from the windsurfing board to his ice board during the cold winter months. “We cure our windsurfing abstinence with windsurfing on ice,” Claes told us. It looks so smooth and peaceful in the video, but it is actually dangerous, too. They fly over the ice with a speed of 30-35 knots and their average speed through the jibes is 22 knots.Â
