Kiri Thode wins the first Double Elimination at the DAM7 Festival PWA World Cup at Brouwersdam, Netherlands. Watch our recap video from the fifth day of competition.

The fifth day of the DAM7 PWA Netherlands World Cup saw the men’s double elimination completed as a brief period of wind swept through Brouwersdam in the afternoon. Kiri Thode successfully defended his single elimination victory to clinch his first event victory since the 2011 Vietnam event ahead of Steven van Broeckhoven. In the meantime Arrianne Aukes fought back to book her place in the women’s double elimination winners’ final where she will face Sarah-Quita Offringa. The women’s final got abandoned due to dropping wind and needs still to be sailed.
