In my opinion CULO + 360 slide = culo 360 or culo 360S
When I hear Culo 900 it seems like he made 2 & 1/2 rotation in the Air
Not at all. A spock with a 180 slide at the end has always been called a spock 540. Two rotations in the air would be called a double culo not a culo 900.
Yes, I think it is quite confusing why a Double Culo got called Double Air Culo by the freestylers and by the PWA. A Double Forward is also not called Double Air Forward. A Culo is anyway always in the air. I think it was because somewhen riders started to call a Spock into Spock as Double Spock, what is actually wrong. A double salto forward for example are always two rotations in the air, in any sport.
My mistake, i wanted to say, that a culo into a culo would be called a double culo. To me personally it makes sense to then call a culo with two rotations in the air a double air culo.
Sure, if a Culo into Culo is a Double Culo, the Double Air Culo naming makes more sense.
Very good argument, totally agree on. 900 sounds massive. Let’s compare it with snowboarding. We talk about 2 and a half full rotations in the air. To add a slide would explain a lot, too.
