The German freestyle windsurfer Mathias Genkel just finished a new video about his windsurfing sessions during the last winter in Germany and Denmark.
Mathias: “The footage for this video got filmed during five sessions I had between January and March 2012. With temperatures close to zero degrees, filming gets a lot harder. Windsurfing in winter is a unique experience. A grey and chilly morning can turn into a perfect day on the water. While most people sit in front of their tellies, you are out there braving the cold. Even after a short session you can’t but smile…!”
Hi! The wind was actually quite light most of the time we were filming. 4.6 was the sail I used the most. And this one is really early planing.
Rock-n-rohwurst will hopefully be back soon! There were some problems with the host server.
