Mattijs Lasore sent us a short videoclip, which got filmed during the this years Prokids event in Brouwersdam. Mattijs is only 12 years old, but has big goals in windsurfing. 
We wanted to know a bit more about the young Boujmaa Guilloul look-alike…;-) 

 


How old are you? I am 12 years old.

Where are you from? I was born in South-Africa and I live in Deinze, Belgium. 

Was the Prokids event your first event? The Prokids event was my first big event and I loved it. I like do it each year again.
What is your favourite windsurfing move? One handed Spock 540, Switch Airjibe and Grubby
Which windsurfing moves do you practice at the moment? Puneta, Eslider, Flaka and Clewfirst Spock
Who are your idols in windsurfing? My biggest idol is Steven Van Broeckhoven and then I have the locals Dieter Van Der Eyken, Davy Sheffers, Nick Van Ingen, Rick Jendrusch, Yentel Caers and Ruben Petrisie who helps me a lot: a big thank to him!
What is your favourite windsurfing spot? Prasonisi, Rhodos and Brouwersdam in Holland
You are 12 years now, where do you see yourself in 5 years? I hope I wil compete in PWA and be in top 10!
