Dimitris Apalagakis windsurfs summer waves at one of Greeks wave spots, called Faneromeni (next to Papadiokambos) on Crete. It’s located in Lasithi near the city of Sitia in the northeastern area of Greek’s biggest island. Locals call it the “Pozo” of Greece. The strong Meltemi can build big waves there, as wind and waves can travel a few hundred km before they hit the north-eastern coast of Crete. And when this happens, the conditions are on and the spot is for experts only!! This day was a good one. Dimitris Apalagakis, Lennart Neubauer and many other windsurfers travelled to Crete and enjoyed the good conditions together.
