In the end of January 2010 the Vietnam Funcup will take place for the 11th time at the Jibe´s Beach Club near Mui Ne.
Pascal Lefebvre, the owner of the club and organiser of the event has some news for 2010: “We will have an amateur class, but also a pro division in 2010. The pros can win some pricemoney in ladies and men categories. We will run a figure 8 slalom competition. In this period of the year there is a good chance to get perfect wind conditions. The north easterly blowing monsoon kicks in and blows from the late morning till late afternoon in between 12 and 30 knots.”

Overview:
This year again we will be giving the competitors, Women and Men divisions, a taste of Beach Life at Mui Ne beach.
For the 1st time there will be a professional division with price money.
Jibe’s Beach Club will be hosting the opening ceremony and award giving party.
A high-wind Slalom racing evnet will be held at Mui Ne Bay for two days, once again the Official referees from Binh Thuan Province sport department will be ruling the event.
There will be many great prices and a lot of fun thanks to our faithful partners
All profit of the event will be donated to a charity organization in Binh Thuan Province!!!

Jan 28th:
09.00am: Secretary desk open at jibe’s Beach Club for registration
10.00am: Free Practice day at Jibe’s Club
Secretary desk open at jibe’s Beach Club until midnight
Jan 29th: Registration until 9.00am
09.00am: Secretary desk open at jibe’s Club closing when last race ends
10.00am: opening ceremony
10.30am: Figure 8 Slalom Racing at Jibe’s Club
12.30pm: snacks for competitors
19.00pm:Chill out at jibe’s Beach Club with our partners
Jan 30th:
10.00am: Day 2 Figure 8 Slalom Racing at Jibe’s Beach Club

19.30pm: Prize Presentation
20.00pm: beach party Jibe’s Beach Club with traditional dances,
21.00pm: Live band, Curtis king Live
23.00pm: tunes form our DJ till open end
