Beginning of September Hurricane Earl hit the American cost and hit as well Lake Erie, which is close to the home of the Canadian freestyler Phil Soltysiak.
Lake Erie is the fourth largest lake of the five Great Lakes in North America and belongs to Canada and the USA and is located in the south-eastern canadian province Ontario. It is 388km long and 92 km wide and the 13th largest lake in the world. With an average depth of 19 meters the lake is quite shallow and can build nice waves.

The hurricane was on the East coast of Canada. This was on lake Erie.

but for a hurricane I would have expcected some stronger wind. What Sail Size did they use? What was the wind speed?
