In the beginning of March the coast of Ireland was hit by a massive storm. Mikey Clancy, wavesailor from Ireland scored some massive waves at his favourite reef break at Maheroarty in Donegal. “This is why I love windsurfing so much and having epic sessions like this are pure magic,” said a delighted Mikey Clancy after his session. I am thrilled by such balls to go windsurf in these conditions. I am not thrilled by people who try to bring others down to lift themselves up above the crowd… While this world needs more kindness and to protect the ones around us, I hope someday somebody tells mean stuff to those who don’t bring joy and happiness to our sport… see how they feel!
