In January 2011 Umi Pictures joined Graham Ezzy on a trip to Japan for some chilly midwinter sailing. Graham´s journey started in Tokio or officially Tokyo Metropolis. Graham Ezzy: “We never knew when we were eating or how long we would be driving in the car because of the language barriers. So we had to prepare for everything and anything. The only time reference point was windsurfing in the sea. And the wind that filled my sails on the water made sure that we almost never left the hotel room without a definite purpose, destination, and many layers of wool. Space for us was either the tiny Japanese room or the entire Pacific Ocean and rarely anything in between.” Read more here.
Umi pictures is getting better and better and better! great job boys cant wait to see more from UMI….
especially takas are his second nature. I remember the one with which he won the supersession in Cabo Verde 2-3 years ago. Another distinct taka rider is Alex Mussolini from the mighty canarian fleet in my humble opinion. Great vid,I have lived in Japan and have went through the same feelings.
I love his takas and his pushloops. Best in the business.
Good windsurfing Ezzy-San.
A sportsman and a scholar.
Respect!!!
