Victor Fernandez enjoyed riding the big big south swell at Gran Canaria’s east coast. A proper swell, one of the best in the past years, hit the Canary Islands in July. Proper 3.7m to 4.0m wind mixed with cleanest down the line conditions brought dream conditions for the former wave world champ from Almerimar, Spain. After two days the swell was over. Now Victor can focus on the stormy side onshore conditions in Pozo Izquiedro again, where he will try to make it on top of the podium this year. It looks like he already feels very familiar with his new Duotone sails.
