With this project Starboard wants to push the concept of sharing windsurfing, says Tiesda You head of R&D and marketing manager. “We want to see how a totally different approach can transform the windsurfing experience. It started as a bit of fun but we quickly discovered some really interesting things.”

It’s overbuilt. It looks fun, but overbuilt. Also, why did you make it a displacement hull? Why not just put a lighter frame on two regular sailboards?

I have a production fibreglass cat windsurfer from the past called SUN TWIN by Speedwind
its a more traditional cat twin hull look but with a flatter deck…more like a cat and windsurfer combined..where as this one looks like a luxury liner cat…but I love it too.
I’m with Alberto. I’d like to see it performing in bigger winds or on chop. It looks very cool and I could totally see myself using it with my wife or kids, but I’d want to know that it will handle ok if the weather or water gets rough.
I am definitely curious about the price…
