Sarah Hauser travelled to Baja California with the goal to improve her Aerials off the lip. Kevin Pritchard followed her with the cam. Mission accomplished! Now she is ready and prepared to travel to Cape Verde… unfortunately Sarah injured her left knee – a MCL sprain – while windsurfing at the first proper swell of the season. We wish a quick recovery!!

Punta San Carlos in Baja is one of the most special places I’ve been to. It’s about an 8 hour drive from the Mexican border. Once you get there, there is no store, no water, no electricity but tons of waves and beautiful sunsets. I had been dreaming to get over there on a good swell before the end of summer to practice my aerial game and re-charge my soul. As we entered the month of September, the Covid 19 restrictions to travel between Mexico and the US by land were nonexistent for essential travels. Essential it was! I didn’t expect this trip to take me through so much growth and to a place of total bliss, whether it’s for my windsurfing career or my internal dialogue and deep motivations. Sarah Hauser
