The surf competition with proud traditions, Red Bull Soulwave, will be revived this summer. Red Bull Soulwave originally comes from Germany and in the period of 1995-2005 the event was held every year in the Danish coastal town of Klitmøller – the ultimate place for surfers and windsurfers. Now Red Bull Denmark wants to revive the old tradition and once again hold the legendary event from 22nd-24th of June 2012.

The competition will involve two categories – windsurfing and Stand Up Paddling (SUP). Everyone can decide if he wants to start in windsurfing only, sup only or in both but must be competing in SUP and windsurf to win the competition.

To win the competition the surfer should aim to get a high score in both categories. The windsurfer who wins the windsurf category and comes in as one of the last in the SUP category has little chance of winning the Red Bull Soulwave title.

Place: Klitmøller, Denmark

Date: 22nd – 24th of June 2012
