Today was the third day of action at the PWA World Cup on Sylt (Germany). In the morning the Freestyle Double Elimination got started, but after 16 valid heats the race crew decided to switch disciplines. The waves have improved and the finals of the women´s wave single elimination got started with two waves and no jump to count. The heat duration was 15 minutes. Iballa Moreno managed to find the better waves and showed the longer rides and the more radical turns, than her sister Daida. In the end Iballa had an advantage of 2 points and claimed victory in the Women´s Wave Single Elimination. AND is the new 2012 PWA Wave World Champion!!!

THE LOSERS FINAL JAGGI VS. TREBOUX

Laure Treboux dominated the losers final against her fellow country”women” Karin Jaggi and was able to win for the first time against Jaggi. Laure Treboux had a great wave selection and placed her top turns in the critical sections of the waves. Karin Jaggi seemed to be underpowered, but did not give up and tried the best until the last seconds of the heat. The conditions were really difficult in both heats. The strong current gave the sailors a hard time and just Laure managed to stay upwind.
