The PWA Slalom/Freestyle Event in El Yaque is postponed.
As assumed yesterday the recent political changes in Venezuela have created the issues for the planning of the event. PWA: “Due to changes in the laws and procedures that govern currency exchange in Venezuela, the process of releasing the required funds for the event has been delayed, making it impossible to guarantee that the funds would be released in time for an event at the end of March.”
The event is not cancelled, but delayed until a later date in the year. “These complicated circumstances have been unavoidable and completely outside of the control of the local organisation and the PWA, but the event will still go ahead and we will announce the revised dates as soon they are finalised”, the PWA stated.
Postponed.Yeah right…. How many of the postponed events in previous years were actually made.Im sorry but this year the pre-seaon period of PWA is so pathetic. How professional is to make callendar of events (even if you name it provisional) when most of them are maby 50% safe with funds.
