The PWA just announced the cancelation of the Marseille PWA World Cup. The event was planned for June, 20th till the 24th, but due to significant delays in the confirmation of funding, the organisers have decided to cancel the event.
But we can still look forward to some exciting competitions. Next week is the start of the first PWA even, a Slalom in Italy, Reggio di Calabria. The event in Italy will see a full fleet in the men´s category with 64 sailors from 20 different nations and 16 ladies from 7 different nations. The biggest fleet comes of course from Italy with 21 riders in total, followed by the French fleet with 18 and Turkey with 10 competitors.
