Chilean windsurfer Alex Vargas released a clip featuring his latest windsurfing sessions.
Alex: “MHabitat comes from an encounter, it emerges from a connection and a disconnection. I am an architecture student and I am far from the place where I sail. I have to travel for hours to get to these conditions, that’s where the concept of disconnection is born, when I disconnect myself from the study area in search of “MHabitat”. At the same time, the concept of connection, the connection with the environment, with what’s native, with the landscape, with the water, with experiencing nature in isolated places and with myself. MHabitat 1.1 is an example of what I would call art, my way of seeing sport, my way of living windsurfing. With these images I remember times and moments that are unforgettable.
