British wave windsurfer Lucas Meldrum attended in the 2021 edition of the Three Wave Classic, October 9 – 15. It was his first contest participation after a two years break due to the Covid pandemic. He travelled to the most westerly island in the Inner Hebrides in Scotland. Pierre Schomburg, a surfer from France and friend from university, joined Lucas and filmed most of the videos. In the end he got the chance to give windsurfing a try and did pretty well. On the island they shard a tiny house with Finn Mellon and Julius Byrne. The three videos show exactly how the trip and pre comp session went. Episodes 2 and 3 are all about the competition. Lucas performed well and made it on the podium in 3rd position. Phil Horrocks won the pro fleet ahead of Andy “Bubble” Chambers. Congrats!!
