The final video of the Kinghogar Windsurf Extreme Jump 2014 is ready to watch. All riders, Jonas Ceballos, Omar Sanchez, Nicklas Herrera Mathisen, Eleazar Alonso, Shannon Bohny, Eric Sanllehy and Jose Romero and the film crew from Imaginerec did a great job. Awesome film angles, cool edit, wild jumps and hard crashes. It’s pretty hard to rotate without any wind. But windsurfers were visible in a big city. Great idea and great realization!
The “KingHogar Extreme Sport” event was a side event during the “Feria Internacional del Mar” (fair) in Las Palmas on Gran Canaria, which took place on the weekend April 5th and 6th 2014. Eleazar Alonso and Jonas Ceballos, who are both working for KingHogar (a big hardware store on Gran Canaria) have organized the building of the ramp and the event in the middle of the harbor of Las Palmas. “To hold an event in Las Palmas is a great publicity for windsurfing,” says Eleazar Alonso.

Kind of cool but without any wind just a lot of flopping into the water?
I was thinking the same thing. Doesn’t quite do it for me. Not sure its going to promote windsurfing to the people watching.
