“It is the most majestic wave on the planet I guess, Teahupoo!!!! My dream came true, I was able to windsurf it for the first time!” (Kauli Seadi) But unfortunately Kauli broke his foot in paradise. Now the Brazilian released a video with insane action from Teahupoo including the wave ride where he got injured. It was a massive wave and a huge Aerial, but you have to watch it yourself.
If you want to read the lastest about Kauli, his injury and his trip to Teahupoo, check out our “What’s up” article ft. Kauli Seadi: What’s up Kauli?
i actually enjoyed the music i found it to fit the video well, with a good vibes atmosphere.
probably no need to second the others regarding Kaulis surfing, it is obvious to everybody, get well soon Kauli!
This arial was real brave action, in the most risky moment, principically jumped from beyond the roof of the wave. This is a new dimension in wavesailing ! Graet Kauli, go for !!!
Great windsurfing! Wish you a speedy recovery Kauli!
But the music can be used for torturing people…..:)
You have to give more credit to Kauli – this is just amazing. The first time a windsurfer properly rides this wave and goes for the lip !!!
Agree. Kauli is still playing…
Kauli is for sure ripping but I would say the first to properly ride it was Camille Juban. That last video of him had some moments that made me hold my breath.
You haven’t seen Jason doing it ages ago too?
hmmm I think in About Time it is actually a different wave in Tahiti and not Teahupoo. But I’m not sure. I think there are a couple other spots that the guys go to. You can see really clear in the video with Juban and Martin that one wave is Teahupoo and the other not. If I had to bet, I’d say that some of those first waves from Kauli’s video are also at this other spot. But I never went to Tahiti so maybe Im wrong. But the teahupoo looks pretty different than these other waves.
Nice waves! Get recover Kauli!
