JP-Australia just released their 2013 freestyle models in three different sizes with 90, 100 and 107 liters. JP Teamrider and top freestyler Andy “Bubble” Chambers sat down with current Freestyle PWA worldchampion and shaper Werner Gnigler to chat about the board development, the latest features and modifications. It looks like Steven had clear ideas of how his freesyle boards ought to look and Werner realised them quite well.
In between the talk you can enjoy the finest freestyle action by worldchampion Steven, entertainer Andy and Youp Schmit, who is definitely one of the best upcoming, young talents. It seems like the marketing team of JP-Australia was inspired by the older days, when Josh Stone was leading a team of younger guys with Ricardo Campello and Diony Guadagnino. Only 4 weeks remain for the best freestylers to meet in Sotavento and show their skills.
Finally footstraps with double screws, especially for the back leg (@4:30) – for me the most important development, I HATE that on my current JP board the back footstrap keeps rotating due to the single screw, no matter how hard I fix the screw. I must say I would NEVER buy a new JP Freestyle board with single screw footstraps, so GOOD JOB guys, just saved one customer. (I don’t care the disco design…)
why is the 90 longer than the 100?

Why the hell will companies like JP employ people like Steven when its obviously not helping their marketing judging by comments such as yours. by the way i also think that it´s good for Steven to be supported by a big company like JP, but i still think that this video is not good for the brand… only the action is worth watching.
If we want there to be professional riders, maybe we should stop insulting all the videos they put out. Its almost like you dont want there to be a any pro windsurfers. Come on, just support the damn video and product and leave all your negative crap to yourselves to not undermine the very basis of pro windsurfing
WTF? Why do u think JP supports him…. They dont do it for charity…. I don’t like the criticism of everything everywhere, but in this case people here are right. Companies like JP , NORTHSAILS are killing this sport with their politics. The dont understand people don’t need new grpahics every year but they need more quality. When u have good quality u can pay more money then not opposite. Or do u wanna kitesurf?
