The conditions were tough when the final was held in the afternoon. The gusty northern wind dropped a bit, but still allowed the riders to land powerful single and double moves. It seems like the top riders are used to go great even in that difficult conditions. Here are the complete heat results from the double elimination final 2023, April 30. The 19 year old Greek rider Lennart Neubauer scored higher total points on both tacks against the former PWA Freestyle World Champion and five times EFPT tour winner Steven van Broeckhoven. It was the first victory of Lennart in an international freestyle windsurfing competition. He just returned from a severe knee injury and 14 months of intense rehab. Steven is one of the oldest freestyle pros on tour. He still lands all the most difficult combos art the age of 38 and it seems that he will continue his career for a few more years.
