2017 is Dieter van der Eyken’s 7th year on the PWA Freestyle tour. Although he competes on the wave tour as well, he still finds the motivation to push his freestyle level. So, this winter after a trip to Western Australia, he flew to the freestyle windsurfing mecca Bonaire, to prepare for the upcoming season.
Dieter van der Eyken: “For me going to Bonaire is more than just going to a good freestyle spot, its the place where I feel very welcome every single time I go! I get to sail a lot with one of my best friends on tour Amado Vrieswijk and all the other local riders there to push my level up again for the upcoming season. This clip covers most of the trip and although we didn’t get the best wind I’m happy with the outcome of it, I wish we could have filmed more with some more different spots but guess that will be for next time! For now sit back and enjoy the clip!”
