The wind started promising during the morning hours. The sailors were out from 10.30 on testing the conditions on sails in between 3,7 and 5.0. The waves were small, just wind waves, but the wind was fine to nail some nice jumps. Victor Fernandez, Peter Volwater, locals Omar Sanchez and Jonas Ceballos, Ben Proffitt and Justyna Sniady and many more had fun out there after many days without any wind. But it was definitely not suitable to run any heats in the ladies single elimination or the trials of the men.

Duncan Coombs decided to run the kids competition, which saw two valid heats. The final got cancelled and will be sailed tomorrow: Moritz Mauch, Benjamin and Marc Pare made it into the winners final.

The skippers’ meeting for tomorrow has been called for 10am with the action commencing from 10:30am if conditions allow.
