Bernd Roediger talks about 2023 and what windsurfing means to him. He is one of the riders, who creates a unique style in wave windsurfing. Living on Maui gives him the chance to make it on the water often and ride in many different conditions throughout a year. 2024 is certainly going to be filled with challenges, but I’m ready to tackle them with the lessons learned over the past year. I have started thinking about my time/love/experience in windsurfing as a resource, more recently considering it a kind of treasure to share with and to invest in others. It’s in this spirit that I step into the New Year with optimism and a clear vision! Bernd Roediger
WS is just taking a breather. Lots of fanatics all over the world. Especially in Nordic countries. Also in Bay of Aden, Black sea, Philippine Sea, Caspian, Sargasso, North seam Barents (bit icy now), mexican sea…windsurfers are everywhere. In Norway we had 24 minus for a month. Solid ice, but low and behold..20m/s and 8 degrees today at Lista. Whos there? Wave sailors.
