Tried to go for two on this one, didn’t quite make the second one. Joy is rarely replicable, you can never step in the same river twice and all that… You can be sure that a good experience you have won’t effect the possibility of you having an equally bad one down the road! But in the same sense a bad experience doesn’t make a person ineligible for something really great to come! Friendly reminder to get out of your own way! As Rumi tells us: “Don’t grieve. Anything you lose comes round in another form.” And I think that applies most aptly to “things” of real importance like love and joy. Bernd Roediger
