Watch the final clip featuring the action of the double elimination of the first AWT (American Windsurfing Tour) event of the 2013 season at Waddell Creek, Santa Cruz, California.Â
Marcilio Browne won his first AWT event in his career. With really solid wavesailing and jumping, he slided through Takas, landed Backside Wave 360 and massive double Forwards, he convinced the judges and won the event. Kevin Pritchard, who won the single elimination did his best and tried to stop Marcilio, but  the former PWA World Champion and passionate filmmaker and photographer lost twice in the double against the Brazilian. Brawzinho was just at his own level. Levi Siver made it on the podium by defeating last year’s overal tour winner Camille Juban. Bernd Roediger and Morgan Noireaux came in 5th. All sailors in the top 5 are living most of the year on Maui, Hawaii, where they are sailing a lot of time at Ho’okipa.
Ingrid Larouche dominated the ladies fleet. Have a look on all results in all categories after the single and after the double elimination. We have added the results below the video.
The level of windsurfing was great, considering the not brilliant conditions.
