Yentel Caers at Lake Como, Italy

Belgian world class freestyle windsurfer Yentel Caers has a strong connection to Lake Como in Italy as his girlfriend Stefania Fumagalli from Lecco calls the Italian Lake – the locals call the lake Lario – her home spot. Just recently Yentel has scored a great session at Parco Ulisse Guzzi in the south eastern part of Lake Como. Strong cold northern wind hit the spot and Yentel landed great moves in 10°C cold water. Stefania was behind the cam.

Lake Como is a hot spot for VIPs, who bought old villas next to the lake and spend time there. George Clooney is one to name, who lives in the villa Oleandra in Laglio. The climate is humid tropical (mediterranean) and the temperatures aren’t too cold during fall and winter. It’s possible to windsurf throughout the whole year. Let’s see if Yentel and Stefania will live in a cosy villa next to the lake soon too, when Yentel will have won a few world titles and will be one of the important VIP’s in windsurfing.
