Imagine you rig your sail while it’s snowing and then you walk through the snow to enter an ice-cold Bavarian lake. German freestyle windsurfer Woife Strasser from Bavaria did this and released a video about his first real winter session in 2017. The winter storm Axel hit Lake Chiemsee on the 4th of January and Woife braved the freezing conditions. The water temperature was 3°C and the air tempeartue was 1°C. That’s quite extreme!
